Biker killed in Jamshedpur road mishap

Gamharia, May 4: A youth, identified as Shubham Kumar, 18, died in a road accident on the Tata-Kandra main road near Tayo Gate, Gamharia on Wednesday, police said.

The incident reportedly occurred around 4 am when Shubham was on his way to Kandra from Balrampur. Just then his bike rammed into the divider on a service road. He sustained critical head injuries in the incident and succumbed at the scene, sources said.

Sources said the deceased was a student of class XI. He had taken the bike from his neighbourhood friend Vishal Kumar Mishra. Poor illumination of the roads in the area could be the result behind the accident, sources said.
