Jamshedpur: MCI team inspects MGMCH for 5 more PG seats

Jamshedpur, April 30: A five member team of Medical Council of India (MCI) visited Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College and Hospital (MGMCH) on Saturday to make an assessment of existing amenities before recommending five more PG seats in the government college.

Led by Dr Khambolja and comprising doctors from Ahmedabad Medical College of Gujarat, the team first visited the CT scan ward and thereafter visited the emergency, OPD, dialysis centre and other departments. Dr Khambolja spoke to patients and also interacted with the doctors. He said he would submit his report to the MCI to pave way for the grant of five more PG seats in the hospital.

The hospital superintendent Dr Arun Kumar was also present during the MCI team visit along with senior doctors of various departments.
