Jamshedpur, Nov 27: In a heartwarming gesture of altruism, the family of 67-year-old Naresh Biswanth Bhagat consented to donate his eyes posthumously, ensuring his legacy of giving continues.
Facilitated by Team Roshni, the eye donation was carried out with the support of Jamshedpur Eye Hospital (JEH). Dr. G.B. Singh, former Head of Department at TMH, successfully retrieved Bhagat’s corneas with the assistance of JEH technician Prasad Mahanand. Sita Joshi from Team Roshni was also present during the procedure.
