Jamshedpur Mango Bridge: Repair of one lane complete

Jamshedpur, April 27: The repair work of one lane of Mango Bridge got over on Tuesday and it was opened for traffic. The other lane was simultaneously closed for traffic for repair. For commuters coming from Mango to Sakchi, the right lane would be used. For those coming from Sakchi to Mango, the small bridge is to be used as a one-way route, sources said.

Sources said another one month is expected to be spent on the remaining part of the bridge repair work. District administration and Tata Steel UISL have jointly started the work to remove various defects on the bridge. Some superficial structural repair was also reportedly done to strengthen the bridge, sources said.
