Jamshedpur man held with stolen gold

Jamshedpur, March 1: Police arrested one Faisal Ahmad with stolen gold in Mango on Tuesday.

The accused, a resident of Millat Nagar, Kapali, had gone to a jewelry shop in Daiguttu, Mango, to sell 22.8 gram gold stolen by him. Police, acting on a tip-off, arrested him from the shop and seized the stolen gold and a mobile phone.

An FIR was registered against the accused for theft and trying to sell off stolen goods. The accused reportedly confessed his crime and told police he had come to the shop to sell the gold he had stolen elsequere.
