Jamshedpur man arrested for selling hooch

Jamshedpur, April 21: Kadma police arrested one Mohit Singh for allegedly selling illicit liquor.

According to Manoj Thakur, officer in-charge of Kadma police station, “The accused was selling illicit liquor ever since he came out of jail some two months ago. We had got a tip-off about his involvement in hooch trade and raided his house in Block No 4 at Shastrinagar on 5^th April last. He had escaped but liquor was recovered from his house. We were searching for him ever since.”

Thakur said Mohit had been jailed in dacoity and murder cases earlier.
