Jamshedpur, March 29: Parsudih police here claimed to have busted a gang selling stolen four wheelers and cars by arresting one Mukesh Prasad Yadav, resident of Pahsudih Makdampur Munshi Mohalla. They seized a Tata Nexon car from his possession. They said one Sunita Agarwal, a woman living near Parsudih Pradhan Tola petrol pump, had filed an FIR in this case. She had alleged that her four wheeler was taken for hiring purpose and then sold off by the accused. When the matter was investigated, it was found that the accused had taken about eight vehicles from different people and then sold them without the knowledge of their owners.
The accused had mortgaged a Swift DZire car belonging to Divya Khanna, a resident of Parsudih, to Shakti Singh of Ranchi. He also sold the Swift DZire car of Vinay Kumar Sharma, a resident of Adityapur (Seraikela-Kharsawan district) to Moti Agarwal, a resident of Jugsalai. Similarly, he sold the Scorpio car of Parsudih resident Sunita Agarwal to Upendra Kumar Yadav in Gaya, Bihar while Sunita Agarwal’s Datsun Go car was mortgaged to Vivek Garg of Adityapur. Similarly, the Baleno car of Mango Baleshwar Chowdhary of Jamshedpur was mortgaged to Chunnu Singh in Chaibasa. The Nexon car of Sumit Chaudhary of Birsanagar was mortgaged to Chunnu Singh in Chaibasa. The Tata Tiago car belonged to Bakshi Singh of Burmamines, who sold it to Shashikant Singh of Kadma while the Hyundai Eon car owned by Dinesh Bakre was sold to Rishabh Srivastava of Golmuri. Efforts are being made to recover all these vehicles, police said
