Jamshedpur, June 14: Jamshedpur reported zero Covid casualties on Wednesday as the death toll remained at 1045.
With just 35 new Covid-19 cases, Jamshedpur’s positivity rate on Wednesday remained below 1%, as the city stayed on the recovery path after a brutal wave of infections between April and May.
The positivity rate stood at 0.52% on Wednesday. City on Wednesday reported zero new COVID-19 deaths, leaving the district’s death toll unmoved.Jamshedpur also reported 35 positive cases while 39 people recovered of the virus on Wednesday.
Active Covid-19 cases in the district has dropped down to 252 after 39 patients were discharged from hospitals and Covid care centres on Wednesday. Of the 252 patients still undergoing treatment for the coronavirus in the district, most are in home isolation, while some are being treated at care centres and hospitals.
Meanwhile, Jamshedpur reported 35 new cases, which took its overall tally to 51,345.
More than 6500 were tested on the day. Data from the state government’s daily health bulletin showed that the Covid-19 test positivity is 0.52%.The state, too, witnessed a massive fall in infections and fatalities.
The overall death toll in the East Singhbhum has reached 1045 and the total cases 51345.
The positivity rate of Covid-19 cases in Jamshedpur is around 0.52 per cent after East Singhbhum conducted over 6500 tests in the last 24 hours. The Steel City tested 6732 samples, of which, 35 turned out positive while 39 people recovered from the Covid-19 on Wednesday, 16. The continuous high number of tests have pushed the positivity rate further down to 0.52 per cent, the government data showed.
The recovery rate has climbed to 97.54% while the active cases have come down to 252.

East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 379477 test per million in the district.
As per the records of health department out of 6732 people who underwent Covid tests in East Singhbhum 35 were found positive.
Over 6500 COVID-19 tests, including 3310 RT-PCR and 2802 RAT were conducted in the last 24 hours in the city.
The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97.54% while the mortality rate is 2.04%.
So far in Jamshedpur 1015352 samples have been collected out of which 1010167 have been tested and 958822 have turned out to be negative.
