Chaibasa, March 17. On Friday, the Chaibasa district court convicted the accused Anita Devi alias Anita Singh for killing her husband for the purpose of getting a job on compassionate ground and sentenced her to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000.
The murder case is six years old. It may be known that on 26.11.2017, an FIR was lodged against accused Anita Devi alias Anita Singh under Muffasil police station on the charge of killing her husband Rajeev Kumar Singh.
Anita killed her husband in the evening of 25.01.2017 and hanged him in the ceiling fan. In the course of investigation, the Chaibasa police arrested Anita, the FIR accused in the case, and sent her to judicial custody. Collecting all the evidence in a scientific manner, the charge sheet was submitted in the court. On the basis of which the accused Anita Devi alias Anita Singh has been sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs.
