Jamshedpur, March 17. Sagar Sona, a resident of Vidyapati Nagar under Sidgora police station, was murdered by five persons.
In this case, the police have arrested Saurabh, Sunny Kachhap, Ankit Patel and Suraj Bagti while Raja is absconding. Police is conducting raids to arrest Raja. In this case, on the statement of Sagar’s mother Kanti Devi, the police have registered a case of kidnapping against Saurabh Kumar, Sunny Kachhap, Rahul Singh and Vishal. The accused had told the police that Sagar had extorted money from Saurabh in the past. Sagar had snatched Rs 1900. Even before this he had snatched many times. On the night of March 14, he was seen with Aditya. At that time he was stopped and thrashed. Aditya fled from the spot during the fight.
When they had beaten up Sagar they picked him up and took him to the river bank, where first they tied his hands and feet and tied a big stone and took him to a boat standing in the water. With the help of a boat, they threw him in the middle of the river and went to their respective homes. In the course of research, the police recovered the body in the river at Bagunhatu in Sidhgoda.
