Jamshedpur LIC agent assaults ex-girlfriend for refusing to communicate

Jamshedpur, Feb 26: In an alarming incident at Bagunnagar under the jurisdiction of Sidhgora police station, an LIC agent reportedly attacked his ex-girlfriend when she refused to engage in conversation with him. The assailant allegedly used a brick to assault the woman, resulting in a head injury. The victim, identified as Kiran, was subsequently treated at MGM Hospital.

Narrating the incident, Kiran and her father shared details of their ordeal. According to them, Kiran had previously worked in spice packing for LIC agent and spice businessman Rahul Aggarwal, a resident of Baridih Bajrang Chowk, three years ago. During that time, Rahul’s family had expressed an interest in marrying Kiran. However, the situation escalated as Rahul allegedly began physically exploiting Kiran under the pretext of marriage. Over time, the harassment intensified, leading Kiran to resign from her job and end the relationship with Rahul.

The recent attack occurred when Kiran refused to communicate with her ex-boyfriend. In response, the LIC agent allegedly resorted to violence, breaking her head with a brick. The injured victim received medical attention at MGM Hospital.
