Jamshedpur Lakho Singh murder case verdict on May 18

Jamshedpur, May 13: The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADJ) IV Rajendra Kumar Sinha will be delivering verdict in Lakho Singh murder case of Burmamines on 18th May. The verdict was supposed to be delivered today, but it was postponed due to half day closure of work after the demise of a member of District Bar Association, Jamshedpur.

The case dates back to 16th August 2019 when Lakho Singh of Burmamines Carriage Colony was abducted. His mother Rani Kaur had lodged an FIR after 10 days. During investigation, cops arrested Basant Upadhyaya and Mohammad Afzal. Cops later arrested a third accused, Raunak Singh who reportedly told them that Lakho was shot dead behind the DVC office in Parsudih. Lakho’s body was recovered from the bushes behind the DVC office.
