Jamshedpur: JUSCO School South Park honours meritorious students

Jamshedpur: JUSCO School South Park organised 17th Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony at Kudy Mahanty Auditorium in Kadma. The ceremony, which took place on October 17, was a day filled with recognition and motivation for the students. The event was divided into two distinct sessions, each graced by notable chief guests.

In the morning session, Junior School students were felicitated, and the ceremony was honored by the presence of Nishith Kumar Sinha, Head of Statutory Compliance Management and Societies at Tata Steel, who served as the chief guest. Sinha imparted valuable advice to the students, encouraging them to relish this phase of life and make time to pursue their passions.

The evening session witnessed the felicitation of Senior School students, and the chief guest for this part of the ceremony was Poonam Chaudhary, Director for Studies in Museology. She congratulated the students on their achievements and inspired them to spread knowledge and light wherever they journey in life.

 

The event was also graced by Ruchi Narendran, Managing Trustee of JEM Foundation, Sanjeev Chaudhary, President of Tata Workers Union, Jhumjhumi Nandi, Principal of JUSCO School Kadma, Francis Joseph, Principal of Kasidih High School, and Vipin Sharma, CBSE Resource Person and former Principal of VBCV.

A total of 49 board toppers and 198 students were honored for their exceptional scholastic and co-scholastic achievements. The ceremony included an Annual Report presented by School Principal Mili Sinha, highlighting the school’s numerous accomplishments during the academic year 2022-23.

The Junior School segment of the ceremony showcased the themes of a Progressive India and presented the journey of Chandrayaan through a captivating dance drama.

In the evening session, Senior School students depicted the rich cultural diversity of India and beautifully portrayed the theme of “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat” through their mesmerizing dance and musical performances.

The coveted All Rounder Award of the Junior School was earned by Daksh Agarwal and Mamya Jha, while the High School’s All Rounder Award went to Teghveer Singh. The Senior Secondary All Rounder Award Trophy was jointly awarded to Shivam Kumar, Manahil Maroof, and Varun Jha.
