Major IPS officer shuffle in Jharkhand: 23 transfers announced
Kumar Gaurav appointed Traffic SP of Ranchi
Jamshedpur, Oct 19: Jharkhand has witnessed a significant reshuffling of its law enforcement leadership, with the transfer of 23 IPS officers in a single notification. This move addressed the posting concerns of officers who were awaiting new assignments. The Home, Prison, and Disaster Management Department of the Jharkhand Government issued the transfer notification on Tuesday.
Notable changes in assignments include Kumar Gaurav’s appointment as the new Traffic SP of Ranchi and Mukesh Lunayat’s new role as the City SP in Jamshedpur.
Here is an overview of key appointments:
Kumar Gaurav, previously awaiting posting, is now the Traffic SP in Ranchi.
Chandan Kumar Jha, a 2011 batch IPS officer, takes charge of the Jharkhand Armed Police Training Center in Padma Hazaribagh.
Anuranjan Kispotta assumes the role of CID SP, and Amber Lakra is appointed as ZAP 3 Commandant in Govindpur.
Anjani Kumar Jha is posted to ACB, and Anand Prakash is the new Wireless SP.
Prabhat Kumar takes on the position of ZAP 6 Jamshedpur Commandant, while Ehtesham Waqarib becomes the ACB SP.
R Rajkumar is designated as SCRB SP, and Amit Renu is now SP Naxal at the police headquarters.
Mukesh Kumar Lunayat is the new City SP in Jamshedpur, and Manoj Swargiar takes on the role of Railway Dhanbad SP.
Shubhranshu Jain is appointed as ACIB SP in SP Special Branch.
Among the newly promoted IPS officers, Sarojini Lakra is appointed ZAP 2 Tatisilve, and Emelda Ekka takes charge as SIRB 2 Khunti Commandant.
Sadiq Anwar Rizvi becomes ACB SP, and Arvind Kumar Singh is now ZAP Panch Deoghar Commandant.
Vikas Kumar Pandey is designated as JPA SP cum Deputy Director, and Vijay Ashish Kujur is the new CTC Musabani SP.
Ajay Kumar Sinha assumes the role of ITS SP, Sahdev Sah takes charge as ACB SP, and Amit Kumar Singh is appointed as Commandant for Mukesh Kumar, Home Defense Corps, and Fire Services. He has been posted as Commandant, SISF Bokaro.
According to the notification from the Home Jail and Disaster Management Department of the State Government, officers who have not been assigned to specific roles will be tasked with contributing to the Police Headquarters.
