Jamshedpur DC and SSP address joint meeting, cops on alert ahead of Durga Puja 

Jamshedpur. Oct 19: In a concerted effort to guarantee peaceful and harmonious culmination of the upcoming Durga Puja, a joint briefing was conducted at the Police Centre, Golmuri on Thursday.

The Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, alongside the Senior Superintendent of Police, Kishore Kaushal took charge of the comprehensive briefing session, addressing the magistrates and police officers/personnel deputed on duty.

The gathering also included the Superintendent of Police (City), Superintendent of Police (Rura)l areas, and other administrative officials.

During the session, directives and necessary guidance were given to ensure efficient execution of security measures throughout the festive period. The collaborative effort between the administrative and law enforcement authorities is aimed at fostering a secure environment for the Durga Puja celebrations, a significant cultural and religious event eagerly awaited by the community.

The DC emphasised the importance of a cohesive approach, urging all stakeholders to work in tandem to uphold law and order. The SSP outlined the strategic deployment of personnel, crowd management protocols, and enhanced vigilance measures to address any potential challenges that may arise during the festivities.

The SP (City) and (Rural) shared insights on specific security arrangements made in their respective jurisdictions. The exchange of information and collaborative planning underscored the commitment of the authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of the public.
