Jamshedpur, Dec 27: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) launched an anti-encroachment drive in different parts of the city on Tuesday. A sum of Rs 33,000 was imposed in penalty on eight persons altogether for flouting various municipal laws. So far the JNAC has collected Rs 10,69,050 in fine in the month of December. A flying squad removed encroachment from Straight Mile Road and Kalimati Road today and also issued warning to people to keep their goods within their premises and remove illegal hoardings.
