Jamshedpur, Dec 27: Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) launched an anti-encroachment drive in different localities of Mango on Tuesday. A sum of Rs 25,000 was collected in fine from encroachers. The officials ordered immediate removal of building material kept on the road side. Many traders were found to have encroached upon the road by using it for keeping their goods. The executive officer of MMC said the anti-encroachment drive would continue daily.
