Ranchi, February 20: Following intervention of of Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren, a primitive tribal youth has got a new lease of life
Continuing as part of effort to improve health facilities for residents of Jharkhand Hemant Soren along with tribal welfare minister Champai Soren monitored in coordination with East Singhbhum district administration for better treatment of Tuna Sabar, a member of Sabar which is a Primitive Tribal Group.
Tuna Sabar, who found himself gripped with a serious dermatological condition and doctors treating Tuna have given their assurance that very soon he will bounce back to good health.
The Chief Minister and Minister Champai Soren received information about the severe illness of Tuna Sabar, a resident of Dampabeda village of Kendua Panchayat of Dumaria block of East Singhbhum.
Upon taking the cognizance of the entire issue the Chief Minister immediately directed the Deputy Commissioner East Singhbhum Vijaya Jadhav for better treatment of Tuna. Minister Champai Soren also kept giving instructions to the Deputy Commissioner in this regard. As soon as the instructions of the Chief Minister and information about the matter were received, the Deputy Commissioner sent an ambulance and Tuna Sabar was admitted to the Sadar Hospital in Jamshedpur, where a team of doctors treated Tuna Sabar. Today, after receiving treatment for the past 15 days Tuna, is on the path of recovery from the serious dermatological condition.
Tuna Sabar in has proven to be a harbinger of change for other Sabar families in the Kendua panchayat. On the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner, a health check-up of all Sabar families was done by setting up a special camp in the village. Under the Dakia scheme, food grains are being made available to all of them every month.

Under the directions of the Chief Minister consistent efforts are being made to link the Sabar families to welfare schemes. Besides, this relentless efforts are also being made to cover all eligible beneficiaries under the ambit of various schemes,” said Vijaya Jadhav, Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum.
