Jamshedpur, Feb 10: In response to the growing need for mental health support in Jamshedpur, the ‘Jeevan’ Suicide Prevention Center is gearing up to expand its services and is actively seeking volunteers to join their cause. Since its inception in 2006, the center has evolved from a four-hour operation to an eight-hour service, reflecting the increasing demand for emotional support in the community.

The general criteria for volunteering include being 21 years or older, having a minimum qualification of Intermediate, proficiency in Hindi and English, and possessing patience and empathetic qualities to assist people in distress.
Volunteers are required to commit to providing four hours of continuous service at the center once a week. Interested individuals can visit the center, fill out an application form, and express their willingness to contribute to the organization’s vital mission.
