Jamshedpur, October 9. The state Health Minister Banna Gupta took an injured person in a road accident to the hospital while returning from Baharagora in East Singhbhum district to Jamshedpur.
However, the man died while being brought to the hospital. A driving license has been found from the deceased, on the basis of which the deceased has been identified as 61-year-old Prabir Kumar Kar, resident of Mayurbhanj, Odisha.
According to the information received, Banna Gupta had gone to Baharagora to attend some program. While returning, he saw a person injured in a road accident on the way. He immediately stopped his convoy and sent the injured to MGM Hospital for treatment. He also instructed the superintendent of MGM to make all the preparations. However, Prabir died before reaching the hospital.
