Jamshedpur, Feb 4: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan Rakesh Pathak, who was injured during an IED blast in Meralgarha under Goelkera police station area of Chaibasa recently, was sent to AIIMS New Delhi for better treatment.
Pathak and other injured jawans, BD Anal and Pankaj Yadav, were airlifted after primary treatment and brought to Ranchi. A green corridor was made to bring the jawan to airport.
The IED blast took place on Thursday last during a search operation.
