Jamshedpur, Aug 10: East Singhbhum district police have begun preparations for Independence Day parade.
Due to intermittent rains, the parade rehearsal has been shifted to Golmuri Police Lines from Gopal Maidan, Bistupur.
According to sources, a full dress final rehearsal would be organized at Gopal Maidan. Various platoons of JAP 6, district police, Home Guard and Scouts and Guides would participate in the Independence Day parade.
School bands would also participate for singing National Anthem. This was informed today by Major Dharmendra Ram.
