Jamshedpur, Mar 29: The city of Jamshedpur will witness two days of strict no-entry regulations for heavy vehicles. Authorities have issued two separate circulars outlining the restrictions. The first no-entry will be enforced on March 29, from 6 AM to 11 PM, coinciding with the Hindu Utsav Samiti’s New Year procession. The movement of all heavy vehicles will be completely prohibited, though buses will be allowed to operate as usual.
Similarly, considering Eid celebrations, no-entry restrictions will be imposed on March 31, from 5 AM to midnight. Heavy vehicles will not be permitted on city roads, while buses will run normally.
The orders were issued by Jamshedpur Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal, Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal and DSP Traffic. The two-day restrictions may pose significant challenges for industries and businesses, as the movement of goods via large vehicles will be hindered. Business owners have expressed concerns, stating that supply chains may be disrupted due to these measures.
