Jamshedpur, June 15: On instruction of the East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Vijaya Jadhav, a team had been formed comprising Assistant Commissioner Excise, East Singhbhum, and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Musabani and Circle Officer of Potka to raid illicit liquor dens in view of the Harina Mela. The special team raided illegal liquor outlets in Harina, Bordih and Narda under Kowali police station. Illegal foreign liquor was confiscated in the raids. In the course of the raids, one person was arrested while four others involved in illegal and illicit liquor deals managed to escape. A case has been filed against the absconders. The special team along with police personnel seized 99.15 liters of Beer and 127.215 liters of illegal stock of IMFL
