Jamshedpur, June 15: A Handicraft Market will be organized at Mango Gandhi Maidan from June 16 to June 30. The Handicraft Market is being organized under the aegis of Gujarati Samaj Handicraft and Handloom Development Institute, Ranchi from Thursday, June 16 and will be inaugurated on June 17 at 6 pm. Daily Cultural Evenings between 6pm and 8 pm will be held to make the event more interesting. The events will be organized by members of Shilp Kala Manch of Indian Handicraft Market. More than 75 skilled craftsmen from the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India will display and sell their created 1,50,000 artifacts. Pooja Toppo, a member of the organizing committee, said that during the 15-day event, various types of swings will also be installed for the entertainment of children accompanying their elders to the Handicraft Market.
