Jamshedpur Hotel and Restaurant Association to organise Master Chef competition

Jamshedpur, Jan 6: As part of the ongoing Jamshedpur Carnival, Jamshedpur Hotel and Restaurant Association (JHRA) is all set to organise Master Chef competition in the city on January 8 at Gopal Maidan. Apart from housewives, male and female a young chef competition is also being organised where in school children can participate.  

An official of JHRA said that the association has been associated with Jamshedpur Carnival and to make the entire fest more interesting such contests are being organised.

He noted that the contest will emphasise that cooking is not a daily chore but is all about dedication, knowledge, patience and expertise. He said that our city is known for serving quality food and the association wants to connect with people having passion for cooking. 

The various categories are Category “A”- Age 10 – 18 yrs, “The Little Chef”, Category “B”- 19yrs and above Male/ Female  “The Master Chef”. Those interested can contact Smita Parikh 9334803900.

A senior hotelier of the city said that the carnival will provide the citizens a taste of Jamshedpur. He said that the association wants to take the fest to the national arena, where food from Jamshedpur can be promoted.
