Jamshedpur, June 4: A delegation of Hotel Alcor staff on Thursday met DC and demanded reopening of the office at the hotel. The staff members demanded that since all the internal activities related to the salaries are conducted inside the hotel, the hotel must be allowed to function to ensure release of salaries . Several employees are waiting for GST, PF and other work due to sealing of the hotel. The staff said that though the government is talking about giving salary to all the employees in the lockdown on the other hand, due to sealing of the hotel, it is difficult to provide salaries to the employees.
Presently the hotel is sealed as Rajiv Dugal the owner, who is accused in operating prostitution racket at Hotel Alcor is in jail.
