Jamshedpur, June 22: A group of 80 young footballers from the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) arrived in Jamshedpur for a week-long football exposure programme organised by Tata Steel in collaboration with Jamshedpur FC. The contingent includes 40 boys and 40 girls from the U-15 and U-21 age groups, accompanied by their coaches and support staff.

The programme aims to provide the budding players with first-hand experience of a professional football environment and modern training methods. On Monday, the visiting contingent was welcomed by Jamshedpur FC CEO Mukul Choudhari and General Manager Prashant Godbole.

During their stay, the players will take part in structured training sessions, interact with qualified coaches and learn about athlete development systems followed by Tata Steel Sports Department and Jamshedpur FC. The initiative focuses on promoting fitness, discipline, teamwork and overall personality development among the participants.
The young footballers will also visit key sporting facilities, including the JRD Tata Sports Complex and the Tata Steel Sports Science Centre, giving them valuable exposure to world-class sports infrastructure and professional sporting practices.
