Set Nov 10 deadline to launch agitation against cow slaughter

Jamshedpur, Oct 18: Several Hindu outfits of the city met ADM Law and Order Nand Kishore Lal and ADC Saurav Sinha on Tuesday and handed them a memorandum demanding demolition of various slaughterhouses running in Barigora under Telco police station area. They also demanded similar action against slaughterhouses running secretly in other localities of the city.
The joint delegation of various outfits handed over an eight-point memorandum to the senior administration officials in support of their demands. The outfit leaders said they would launch a phased agitation on a massive scale in case the district administration failed to take appropriate action on the points raised by them by November 10 this year. BJP leader Ankit Anand said no body would be allowed to hurt the sentiments of Hindus just because they were the most tolerant community.
