Jamshedpur: Golden Jubilee Reunion of R D Tata High School’s 1974 batch

Jamshedpur, March 17: The Bengali-speaking students of the 1974 batch of R. D. Tata High School celebrated the 50th anniversary with a grand reunion held at the school auditorium on Sunday. The event, graced by Tata-74 Group directors Gyanendra Malakar and Pradeep Vardhan, welcomed 35 former students and former teachers B.D. Ghosh, SK Biswas, and B.K. Das.

Commencing with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and rendition of the nostalgic melody ‘Purono Sei Din Katha…’, the reunion evoked cherished memories through poetry recitations, magical performances, and musical presentations by the ex-students. Notably, the teachers unveiled the Golden Jubilee Souvenir, marking the special occasion.

Gyanendra Malakar, Pradeep Vardhan, Durgadas Sen, Basav Narayan Choudhary, Partha Pratim, Satyabrata Chowdhury, Apoorva Pal, and other distinguished alumni graced the program with their presence, further enriching the celebration of cherished school memories.
