Jamshedpur: Girlfriend inflicts self harm after boyfriend stops communication

Jamshedpur, Feb 26: A distressing incident unfolded in Baridih under the jurisdiction of Sidgora police station when a young woman, Rinki Tiyu, reportedly cut a vein on her hand after her boyfriend, Dakshin Tudu, ceased communication with her. The incident has left Rinki in a serious and critical condition.

The family members of Dakshin Tudu immediately contacted emergency services using dial 100, notifying them of the alarming situation. Upon receiving the information, the police promptly arrived at the scene and transported the injured and bleeding Rinki to MGM Hospital for urgent medical attention.

Rinki is currently in an unconscious state, making it difficult for her to provide any details about the incident. According to Dakshin Tudu’s father, the couple resides in proximity to the Baridih roundabout, with Rinki hailing from Babudih Lal Bhatta. The revelation of their love affair occurred about a year ago, leading to opposition from Rinki’s family.

A few days prior to the incident, Rinki had filed a written complaint at the women’s police station. Today, she was reportedly preparing to visit the women’s police station following a call from the authorities. However, during a conversation at home, Rinki, in a distressed state, allegedly picked up a knife and inflicted injuries on both her hands.

The timely intervention of emergency services following the dial 100 call ensured that Rinki was swiftly taken to the hospital for necessary medical attention.
