Jamshedpur, Feb 23: Jamshedpur is donning festive attire, illuminated with lights, as preparations for the Founder’s Day celebration, the birth anniversary of city’s founder Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata on March 3, are in full swing. The city is undergoing extensive decoration with lighting across squares, major roads, and prominent buildings.
The process of adorning the city commenced a fortnight before Jamsetji Tata’s birthday, and the testing of the lighting arrangements is currently underway. The testing phase, ensuring the city sparkles on Founder’s Day, is expected to be completed before the grand celebration. The illumination is set to enhance the city’s charm, creating a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere.
Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran is scheduled to inaugurate the lighting decoration on March 2, marking the beginning of the Founder’s Day festivities.
