Jamshedpur, Mar 8: SSP Kishore Kaushal has taken swift action by suspending four police personnel, including ASI Om Prakash Singh, for their misconduct towards the general public. The suspended officers include ASI Om Prakash Singh, posted in PCR 18, and Pashupati Mahato, Sadhanpal, and Narayan Mahato, posted in Kesarpur Picket of Galudih.
The incident leading to the suspensions occurred on March 4 when ASI Om Prakash Singh, stationed in PCR 18, misbehaved with JUSCO electricity employees and the public near Golmuri RDATA Chowk. A complaint was filed by the victim, prompting the SSP to initiate an investigation. Upon confirming the validity of the complaint, ASI Om Prakash Singh was suspended.
Similarly, on March 5, police personnel at Kesarpur Picket reportedly mistreated villagers from Kesarpur and Gudajhor in Baghudiya Panchayat of Galudih. The villagers filed a complaint with the SSP, who promptly ordered an investigation. After verifying the accuracy of the complaint, Pashupati Mahato, Sadhan Pal, and Narayan Mahato were suspended from their duties.
