Jamshedpur, Mar 8: A Tata Motors contract worker, Manoj Prasad, met with a fatal road accident near Tata Motors South Gate, under the jurisdiction of the Telco police station. The incident occurred as Manoj was en route to his home in Rahargoda from work. Unfortunately, he lost control of his bike after leaving the company, resulting in a fall at a nearby speed breaker. Tragically, a container traveling behind collided with Manoj.
Following the accident, the driver of the container attempted to flee the scene, but local residents managed to apprehend him. Swift action was taken to rush Manoj to Tata Motors Hospital. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, he was declared dead after examination.
Upon learning of the tragedy, family members reached the hospital, expressing their grief and creating a commotion. Outside the company gate, people gathered to demonstrate, demanding appropriate action. Local residents conveyed their intention to protest at the company gate if compensation was not provided to the family.
