Jamshedpur, Mar 8: The Singhbhum Chamber, in an effort to promote voter awareness and increase voter participation, conducted a Voter ID card camp at Bistupur Chamber Bhawan. A total of 78 businessmen and entrepreneurs availed themselves of this opportunity to obtain their voter cards, while some members also corrected information on their existing cards. President Vijay Anand Moonka and Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia jointly shared this information.
President Vijay Anand Moonka emphasized the importance of the upcoming general elections and highlighted the Chamber’s decision to launch a voter awareness campaign. The aim is to enhance voter turnout compared to previous elections in Jamshedpur. In light of the potential announcement of general elections by the Election Commission in the coming month, the Chamber organized the Voter ID camp.
Moonka stated that the camp was especially beneficial for business entrepreneurs who may have been too busy with their businesses or encountered inaccuracies in their voter cards. The camp provided a convenient platform for them to make new cards or correct existing ones. The President expressed joy at the active participation of business entrepreneurs in the camp.
The success of the Voter ID Card Camp was attributed to the concerted efforts of various office bearers of the Chamber, including Anil Modi, Rajeev Agarwal, Punit Kanwatiya, Abhishek Agarwal Goldie, Bharat Makani, Anshul Ringsiya, Suresh Sharma Lipu, Anil Ringsiya, Umesh Kheerwal, Manoj Goyal, Ramesh Agarwal, Shankar Soni, among others.
