Jamshedpur Forest department removes hoardings from trees

Jamshedpur, Aug 6: Forest department officials here on Saturday launched a drive to remove hoardings from trees across the city.

The drive began at Jubilee Park roundabout in Sakchi. Hoardings were removed with nails and wires used to fix them atop branches of trees.

Leading the campaign, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Mamata Priyadarshi said protecting trees was the foremost duty of all citizens.

She said action would be taken against individuals and organizations using and harming trees for commercial purpose.
