Jamshedpur, Aug 6: City police have arrested gangster Salman Khan and his brother Arman Khan in connection with the recent firing on Congress leader Mohammad Iqbal in Dhatkidih. They also seized a gun from their Agrico residence on the basis of their confessional statement.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), East Singhbhum, Prabhat Kumar, “A city police team arrested the accused persons from New Delhi. We have seized a scooty and a car used by them in the crime.”
According to the SSP, Salman wanted to kill Iqbal with the intention to ensure his domination in the area. After firing at Iqbal, he escaped in a car.
