Jamshedpur, Aug 6: Railway police launched an awareness campaign for passengers at Tatanagar railway station here on Saturday. The RPF officials appealed to passengers to abstain from mingling with strangers in trains and accepting food items such as biscuits, cold drinks from them. Such strangers may prove fatal or dangerous and can be members of gangs involved in drugging and robbing passengers, they said.
The Railway police department pasted posters at various places with awareness messages for passengers. RPF officer Lalit Kumar said the passengers are being requested not to take selfie during train journey or near railway tracks to avoid injury or death.
