Jamshedpur, Oct 25: Internationally acclaimed folk singer Dr. Neetu Kumari Nutan arrived in Melbourne, Australia, with a 12-member team under the banner of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Government of India. She will be representing India’s rich cultural heritage through music and dance performances from October 25 to November 2 in Melbourne and Sydney.
Dr. Nutan will enthrall audiences with the essence of Diwali, Chhath and other vibrant folk traditions of Bihar and India. Her performances will feature unique presentations of Pidiya style and Bimbo folk art from Champaran, Bihar, highlighting the depth and diversity of Indian folk culture.
Pradeep Singh, General Secretary of the Sampoorna Bhojpuri Vikas Manch, expressed gratitude for this achievement and extended congratulations to Dr. Nutan for taking the spirit of Bhojpuri culture to an international platform. The Bhojpuri community also thanked the Government of India and ICCR for promoting traditional Indian art and culture across the globe.
