Jamshedpur Flower Show draws huge crowds

 Jamshedpur: In a vibrant celebration of nature’s beauty and horticultural expertise, a large crowd gathered at the Jamshedpur Flower Show on Sunday, turning the event into a floral spectacle that captivated visitors of all ages. Organized by the Horticultural Society of Jamshedpur in collaboration with Tata Steel and Tata Steel UISL, the show promised to be a visual treat for flower enthusiasts and gardening aficionados.

The flower show, held at Gopal Maidan adorned with colorful blooms and creative arrangements, showcased a dazzling array of flowers, plants. Visitors were treated to a sensory delight as they explored the meticulously curated displays that highlighted the diversity of flora in the region.

In addition to the visual feast, Technical sessions on December 24 covered topics like seasonal flower cultivation, vegetable and kitchen gardening techniques, smart gardening technology, and pest and nutrition management for plants.

The theme for the 33rd Annual Flower show is,” Khushal ho Prakriti aur Ghar Sansar, Jab Hum Laye Phoolon Ki Bahar”.

The exhibition features a variety of displays, including seasonal flowers, bonsai, vegetables, innovative products, and a diverse range of plants.

The show is also hosting 33 nurseries, allowing visitors to make purchases.

Additionally, 25 counters, 14 Pan-India stalls, and 12 food stalls are present.

The organizers expressed their gratitude for the collaborative efforts of Tata Steel and Tata Steel UISL, emphasizing the importance of such partnerships in fostering community engagement and promoting environmental awareness.

The Horticultural Society of Jamshedpur is encouraging everyone to take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn, appreciate, and connect with nature. The show is set to continue its bloom until December 26, offering a few more days for residents and visitors alike to soak in the beauty of the floral extravaganza.
