Jamshedpur: Armed miscreants opened fire at Harish Electronics, a shop situated in Jalebi Line, Sakchi, late Monday evening.
One person sitting at the shop was injured in the incident. He was taken to MGM Hospital where his condition was reportedly serious.
Police said the incident took place when the market was still open. The assailants came close to the shop and opened fire. The incident caused panic in the traders nearby. Cops were informed about the incident by the traders.
Cops said they were looking into extortion and enmity angle and were waiting for the victim to give statement on the incident.
