Jamshedpur, Sept 1: In a thrilling pre-season friendly match at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Sunday, Jamshedpur FC played out a 1-1 draw against Sreenidi Deccan FC. The game was marked by intense attacking play from both teams, with Jamshedpur FC creating multiple scoring opportunities from the start.
The home team’s persistence paid off in the 23rd minute when Rei Tachikawa scored a stunning goal. Tachikawa’s corner kick was initially deflected off the bar by Muirang, but the Japanese midfielder quickly reacted to slot the ball past the Sreenidi Deccan FC goalkeeper, giving Jamshedpur FC the lead.
Despite numerous attempts from both teams, the score remained 1-0 in favor of Jamshedpur FC at halftime. However, Sreenidi Deccan FC equalized in the 63rd minute through a goal from William, leveling the score at 1-1.
