East Singhbhum District Kho Kho Association organizes seminar and training for Technical Officials

Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum District Kho Kho Association hosted one-day seminar and training session for technical officials at a school in New Baradwari on September 1.

The event was inaugurated by Gopal ji, Secretary of the Jharkhand State Taekwondo Association, along with former international athlete NC Dev, who attended as the special guest.

The training camp saw enthusiastic participation from a large number of physical education teachers from various schools across the city, as well as former players connected with the sport of Kho Kho. The camp was led by chief trainers Subodh Chatterjee, the Technical Head of the East Singhbhum District Kho Kho Association, along with Ajay Mahanti, Technical Officer of the West Singhbhum District Kho Kho Association, Baru Sinku, and Dayal Singh Nehra.

The training was divided into three categories, covering both theoretical and practical aspects. After completing the theoretical classes, participants underwent a practical session, followed by a written and oral examination. Out of the 32 technical officers who participated, 21 were declared successful. The successful participants were awarded certificates by the chief guest at the closing ceremony, Honorable MLA of Jamshedpur East, Saryu Rai.

The event was made possible through the efforts of several key contributors, including Victor Vijay Samad, Secretary of the East Singhbhum District Kho Kho Association, Treasurer Shyam Kumar Sharma, Technical Head Subodh Chatterjee, Technical Officer Ajay Mahanti, Muzaffar Arshad, and W. Rehman. Principal Chandradeep Pandey of Plus People’s Academy New Baradwari served as the special guest for the closing ceremony.
