Jamshedpur, Dec 19: A delegation of members of Fair Price Shop Dealers Association, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur district committee and Chakulia block committee led by Baharagora MLA Samir Mohanty met the state food and supplies department Secretary Himani Pandey on Monday and discussed various issues pertaining to the dealers.
The MLA said the food and supplies department should fulfill the various demands raised by the outfit members to ensure their welfare He assured the dealers of every possible help.
Pramod Gupta, district general secretary of the outfit, said the dependents of fair price shop dealers should be given benefit on compassionate ground. He said the backlog ration distributed in June, July, August and September 2022 had not been adjusted as yet. He said due to curtailment in supplies to dealers from godowns, distribution of ration among the beneficiaries was not possible.
