Jamshedpur youth commits suicide 

Jamshedpur, November 22: Financial constraints allegedly drove a young man to commit suicide by hanging in Jamshedpur.

Surath Mahato (30) committed suicide by hanging himself with the help of a rope on a Peepal tree near his house in Kankidih Tola of Madhavpur Panchayat under Bodam police station. On Wednesday morning, some people out on morning walk found Surath hanging, after which they immediately informed the police.

It is said that Surath Mahato used to run a small stationery shop at Kankidih turn of Palashdih village. According to family members, Surath had a debt of lakhs of rupees, due to which he was mentally disturbed. He had opened a brick kiln in partnership, in which he suffered huge losses.
