Mail News Service

Jamshedpur, Dec 5: Independent candidate from Jamshedpur East Saryu Roy Thursday said voters of his constituency were ready for change which would be sealed on 7th December.

Roy said Chief Minister Raghubar Das had made false promise of giving jobs to 1.26 lakh youths of the state. He said the state government had made tall claims about giving jobs to unemployed youths of the state.

Addressing a press meet, Roy claimed a major scam had taken place in the Das-led regime. Serious question arises on the authenticity of claim made by the Jharkhand government about giving jobs to 1.26 lakh youths which was recorded in Limca Book of World Records. Limca Book of World Records authorities also need to explain this. In reality, none of these youths has employment today. Ironically, the governments list includes even those youths who are still undergoing training, said the former Jamshedpur West MLA.

Roy said he would reveal much more about the scam in the coming days. He thanked police and media for their sincere work during election campaign.

Roy expressed gratitude to all political parties extending support to him. He said some people were spreading fear to pave way for themselves. He said he was denied BJP ticket from Jamshedpur West at the behest of the CM.

Roy later said the INCAB company could be opened soon.
