Jamshedpur East BJP leads ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign ahead of Independence Day

Jamshedpur: In the run-up to Independence Day, BJP workers across all mandals of the Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency carried out an extensive outreach programme on Wednesday as part of the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. The drive saw party members visiting homes, shops and localities to distribute the national flag and encourage citizens to hoist it at their residences and establishments.

The initiative covered several areas, including Nehru Colony in Sakchi East Mandal, Devanagar (Baradwari) in Sitaramdera Mandal, Bagunhatu Basti in Baridih Mandal, Zone No. 8 near Shri Hanuman Mandir in Birsanagar Mandal, Ambagan in Telco Mandal, Raghuvar Nagar and Bhakti Nagar in Burmamines Mandal and Golmuri Bazaar in Golmuri Mandal.

Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu actively participated in the campaign, personally handing over flags to residents and even helping hoist them on several homes and shops. “Independence Day is a symbol of our pride and honour. Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement has now become a nationwide expression of patriotism,” Sahu said. She urged everyone to proudly display the tricolour on August 15 and honour the sacrifices of the freedom fighters.

The event was attended by MLA representative Gunjan Yadav, Sakchi East Mandal President Yuvraj Singh, Baridih Mandal President Jeevan Lal, Birsanagar Mandal President Bablu Gop, Telco Mandal President Vikas Sharma, Burmamines Mandal President Suraj Singh, Golmuri Mandal President Pappu Upadhyay, Sitaramdera Mandal Vice President Ranjit Singh, along with numerous BJP workers and local residents, creating a festive, patriotic atmosphere across the constituency.
