Jamshedpur, Aug 13: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday organised its fourth blood donation camp in memory of its former Vice-President (Finance & Taxation) late CA Dinesh Choudhary. The camp, held at the Chamber Bhavan from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., was jointly inaugurated by East Singhbhum Senior Superintendent of Police Piyush Pandey and Civil Surgeon Dr. Sahir Pal, with members of Choudhary’s family in attendance.
Chamber President Vijay Anand Moonka recalled that Choudhary was a dedicated member who worked tirelessly for the welfare of traders and entrepreneurs, even during the COVID-19 crisis when he contracted the virus and passed away on August 4, 2020. “This annual camp is our way of paying tribute to his memory,” Moonka said.
According to Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia, a total of 105 units of blood were donated. Choudhary’s brothers, Suresh and Anand Choudhary, thanked the Chamber for keeping his memory alive through the initiative. Dr. Pal praised the Chamber for engaging in such social causes, noting, “It’s rare to see a business organisation actively contributing to public welfare.”
