Jamshedpur, March 15: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur West celebrated International Women’s Day and Holi Milan at a city hotel on Wednesday.
Program was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp in presence of
District Chairperson Dr Reeta Jha, District secretary Alokananda Bakshi and District Editor Nibha Mishra jointly inaugurated the program.
The event began with melodious presentation by Meera Sony. Beautiful dance was staged by Rita Goswami, Rajni and Barnali Lahiri.
On the occasion Dr Rita Jha honoured women who have excelled in their fields.
In the health category Dr Sister Jessy Joseph, Varshala George of Mercy Hospital, Shagufta Parveen of MGM Hospital was honoured.
President Award winner teacher of Tata Workers Union High School Shipra Mishra, Principal of Sakchi Girls High School Manju Sinha along with Nabamita Choudhary in the field of arts were honoured.
On the Secretary of the club Anindita Bera, past President Urvashi Verma, Amita Sinha, Neelam Jaiswal, Papiya Chatterjee, Madhumita Dutta, Purbi Ghosh and others were present.
