Jamshedpur: In a tragic incident, Anjali Kumari, 43, wife of Dr. Pankaj Kumar, a resident of Durga Apartment in Parsudih, allegedly took her own life by hanging herself in her home.
The incident occurred early Wednesday morning around 4 AM. Dr. Kumar discovered her hanging when he woke up and immediately rushed her to Tata Main Hospital (TMH), where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Anjali Kumari was reportedly suffering from depression caused by family issues. Dr. Kumar, who previously worked at Brahmananda Hospital, now runs a private clinic. The police have sent the body for post-mortem and are investigating the case. The exact reason for the suicide is yet to be determined.
